I was born in 1988 in the West of Ireland. I live and work between Ireland and Carrara, Italy. My studies include a BA in Social Care and an MA in International Relations.
I worked in Social Care for years and my natural passion for art was expanded through my work in art therapy. My interests in sculpture began in wood and, as I have developed, progressed to include stone.
I am currently pursuing sculpture full time and have participated in various workshops and symposia. I currently maintain a full time studio in Carrara Italy, where I create sculptures in marble.
In my work I employ the theories and practices of art therapy with introspection an important part of the process. Currently my work explores themes of domesticity and fertility from both a personal and sociological perspective.
I have exhibited my works in Ireland, Austria and Italy.
